On persiste et on signe dans le "ratage": une photo de travers avec un personnage dont la tête est coupée, deux éléments (le chariot de courses et le fauteuil) tronqués eux aussi. Et pourtant, je l'aime bien.

Voici la première photo d'une série à venir sur le thème "Non facturé". Photo Paris, 2014.
Quelle idée?
Si vous avez fait tirer vos photos à la "Fnac" dans les années 1980 jusque 1990, vous avez peut-être eu le privilège de les voir affublées de l'étiquette noire "Non facturé" en plein milieu. Parce que floues, de travers, sombres... Peu importe que le flou ait été voulu, elles ne passaient pas le test du labo avec succès! Cela m'amusait beaucoup à l'époque et j'ai eu envie de reprendre cette coutume "vintage" à mon compte.

What a strange idea? In France, until the early 1990's, if your pictures were blurred, dark or lopsided... the photo lab of a certain shop used to put a black sticker "unbilled" right on the middle of them. No matter if it was sought-after! It amused me a lot and I wanted to bring up to date that custom so "vintage", starting with my work.

Si je devais donner un nom à cette photo, je l'intitulerais "Nulle part" car j'étais vraiment au milieu de nulle part, en Chine. C'est ce genre d'endroit que j'aime! Shanghaï, mai 2015.

Le M dans la Chine / The big M in China

Tout le monde connait cette enseigne, symbole de la mondialisation réussie des plus grandes chaines.
D'ordinaire, je n'y fais pas plus attention que ça. Là, j'avoue que je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de prendre ce panneau en photo, tant c'est inhabituel pour moi!
Juste un petit regret: ne pas avoir eu la curiosité de pousser la porte pour voir le "Mcdo" à la chinoise!

GB: Everybody knows that sign, embodiment of a successful globalisation of the biggest chain of stores.
Usually, I don't notice that sign, but there, it was so unfamiliar for me that I couldn't stop myself from taking a picture of it!
I have only one regret: I didn't have the curiosity to enter the store to see the "Chinese way" of cooking junk food!
